Swine flu Vaccine Trials Given Go Ahead

Finally a step seems to have been taken in the right direction with the H1N1 Swine flu pandemic in India that has so far infected as many as 26,000 people all over the country; and we are now one step closer to the indigenous production of the Swine flu vaccine.
According to this report in the Business Standard, permission to conduct clinical trials has finally been granted to Zydus Cadila by the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI). This, reportedly is the all vital first step that will ultimately introduce the vaccine into the market for commercial use.
