Punjab Sees Spike in Swine Flu Cases

After Delhi, it is now time for Punjab to see a spike in the numbers infected by the H1N1 Swine flu virus.  The number of swine flu cases reported in the state till now has reached 128.

According to this Times of India report, there are now 5 centers for swine flu being set up to monitor the situation. Here, treatment for swine flu cases will be offered and the center will also have isolation rooms and ventilators.

On Saturday 12 people died in India from swine flu and this has now taken the total number of dead to 780. More than 23,000 people in all have been affected by the infection.
