H1N1 Vaccine
Question by realityshowjunkie: Is anyone TTC or pregnant going to get the H1N1 vaccination?
I am just curious how OB/GYN’s or RE’s feel about getting the vaccination. I have never had a flu vaccination. I am a preschool teacher so my risks may be higher for getting the flu. It’s just that this vaccination scares the he** out of me as it is new. It makes me nearly want to wait to TTC but (for many reasons) I can’t place it off much longer.

Question by MiSSLiNDABABiE: Who is plotting to get the h1n1 vaccine for themselves & their child?
I am worried of catching the swine flu but, also worried to get the new h1n1 vaccine. After watching Desiree Jennings tale online and reading/watching the news about horrible things going incorrect after people have gotten the vaccine…I am certainly paranoid. I have a 8 month ancient small girl and would want to protect her in every way possible but, I don’t want her/me or my husband to get the vaccine until I know it is 100% safe. Absolutely 100% safe. Does anyone else feel the same way I do?

Question by Ben’s Mommy: What is your doctors recommendation regarding the H1N1 vaccination in pregnant women?
I am 17 weeks pregnant with my second, and my doctor told me on Monday that she does not recommend the H1N1 vaccine to her patients. I want to know from others, what your doctor has recommended, and their explanation.
I have trust in my doc but their is so much conflicting information out there, just like to know what other’s experience has been
my doc said we don’t know the risks so not to take it
